The Court of Appeal on Friday ordered the Department of State Services (DSS) to present the detained former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, before the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Justice Peter Ige, in the judgement by the three-man panel, said Dasuki’s appearance was necessary as he will be testifying in defense of former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh.
The ruling also orderedJustice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja, before whom Metuh is being prosecuted, to immediately sign the subpoena filed by Metuh.
Justice Ige also asked that Justice Abang indicate the date the DSS is to present Dasuki to the court, along with other dates.
