Record label, G-Worldwide Entertainment, has dragged singer, Kiss Daniel (real name: Daniel Anidugbe) to court for breaching the terms of the seven-year contract he signed with the label.
Kiss Daniel had left the label to form his own but G-Worldwide says that his stage name “Kiss Daniel” as well as the songs he plans to perform in his upcoming shows do not belong to him.
A statement issued by the company said the Federal High Court in Lagos on November 30, 2017, ordered that “the status quo ante bellum, under the Contract, be maintained by the parties, pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice filed in the suit”.
The suit was filed on November 20 after Kiss Daniel announced his exit from the label.
