A Lagos State Magistrate Court has stopped Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh from airing her upcoming reality TV, “King Tonto”, featuring her son, King Andre.
In December 2017, Tonto revealed that she would be airing a no-holds-barred own reality TV show on Linda Ikeji TV, showing her cosmetic surgery and her life as a mother.
Her estranged husband, Olakunle Churchill, however dragged her to court, saying he does not want their child’s likeness in the TV show. She is still in a legal battle with Churchill over the child’s custody.
Churchill’s lawyer, Anthonette Williams-Chukwu, on January 11, filed the motion against Tonto Dikeh, Linda Ikeji Media Limited, the TV station set to air the show and Linda Ikeji, the station’s CEO.
Instablog9jareports that tge court on Thursday granted an interim injunction, ordering that the child’s name, face, image, likeness and picture not air, show, be disseminated or broadcasted either through the television, blogs or the world wide web.
