Chelsea outcast, Diego Costa, has reportedly sold his fleet of cars as he closes in on an exit from Stamford Bridge and a return to Atletico Madrid in Spain.
The striker has been AWOL since the new season started.
Before the new season started, he was told he was not in Manager Antonio Conte’s plans.
Chelsea have requested he returns and reports for training, but the striker is, so far, continuing his exile
And The Sun reports that the Spaniard has now taken another step towards leaving for good, flogging a Mercedes and a BMW, while his club Range Rover has been moved to a youth team bay at Cobham.
Costa has been included in Chelsea’s Premier League squad after failing to secure a move away during the summer transfer window.
The Spanish international is desperate for a return to Atletico Madrid, but the Liga side are under embargo until January.
Costa will likely secure the switch when the transfer window reopens, in the meantime he looks set to continue racking up fines for his absence from west London.
