Evicted residents of Otodo-Gbame waterfront communities on Tuesday besieged the headquarters of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Oyingbo to report their ploght to the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
They pleaded with Pastor Adeboye to prevail on Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, a pastor of the church, to intervene in the lingering Otodo-Gbame residency crisis.
The residents, who were joined by the residents of other waterfront communities and human rights activists, said they have been through harsh conditions since the final eviction.
