Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, last night, stormed Midas Hotel, Ado Ekiti to prevent the arrest of Apostle Johnson Suleiman of the Omega Fire Ministry by the Department of State Security (DSS).
Apostle Suleiman had spoken strongly against Fulani herdsmen killings and against alleged plots to Islamise Nigeria. He was alleged to have told members of his church in Auchi, Ed State to fight back should they be attack by herdsmen.
Reports said armed men of the DSS came in THREE Hilux Vans and were laying siege on the hotel before Fayose stormed the hotel.
Governor Fayose drove himself to the hotel and moved the Man of God to the Government House.
Apostle Suleiman was in Ado Ekiti for a two-day crusade. He was allegedly trailed after paying a courtesy visit to the governor at the Government House.
Sulaiman allegedly told his followers to fight if they remain unprotected from the marauders and kill them should they enter their church.
