Former PDP spokesman, Adeyeye, decamps to APC in Ekiti

A governorship aspirant in the recently concluded Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries in Ekiti state, Prince Dayo Adeyeye has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

His defection comes just six weeks to the governorship election due to hold on July 14, 2018.

Adeyeye, a former spokesman for the PDP lost at the primaries, to Olusola Eleka, the prefered candidate of Governor Ayodele Fayose.

The former Minister of State for ‎Works said that he left the PDP in a bid to align with APC and its candidate, Kayode Fayemi, to rescue Ekiti.

The Ekiti vote holds on July 14, 2018.
