At least 23 persons, mostly women and children, have been confirmed killed in a fresh suspected Fulani herdsmen attacks in Dundu Village of Miango District of Bassa LGC of Plateau State.
According to New Telegraph, one of the Youth Leader of Miango Mr Auta Danjuma confirmed that the attacks took place on Monday night.
The attack took place just as residents of Mango community in the state were planning to stage a peotest today, Tuesday, over the recent attacks that have taken plave in the state in the past one week.
Up to five attacks by suspected Fulani herdsmen have taken place in the last one week, including one rhe day President Muhammadu Buhari visited the state. Scores of people have been killed.
The Plateau State Police Public Relations Officer DSP Mathias Terna confirmed Monday nights killings but said he was yet to get details.
