The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday said that the March 8 deadline for collection of permanent voters cards has been extended by two weeks.
The commission said in a statement signed by Mr Kayode Idowu, the Chief Press Secretary to INEC Chairman that PVC collection would now end on March 22.
According to the statement, “This latest extension offers the last opportunity for duly registered voters to collect their PVCs before the general elections scheduled for March 28 and April 11.”
INEC called on registered voters who are yet to collect their PVCs to use the opportunity of the extension to collect their cards to enable them exercise their civic rights during the polls.
