Former England international and United Nations Ambassador, John Fashanu, has lent his vpice to the raging saga surrounding the certificate of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari.
According to, Vanguard, Fashanu said Buhari would have been disqualified it it were to be in other climes.
His words:“Anything that is lingering on for so long as this matter is not quite right. If it is in the UK, he (Buhari) would have been pushed out.
“He would have been told to step down honourably. It is quite absurd that we are still on the issue of a candidate’s certificate with just a few days to the elections’’.
The former board member of the Nigerian Football Association (NFA) threw his weight behind President Goodluck Jonathan’s second term bis, saying that the president had enough achievements to earn him another term in office.
