Niger State deputy governor, Hon Ahmed Musa Ibeto, has allegedly been evicted from the Government House. This was disclosed by one of the aides of the deputy governor who spoke on condition of anonymity.
He said the deputy governor’s office located inside the Government House had been served a notice to relocate from Government House.
The aides of the deputy governor said “they had been directed to relocate to ‘F’ Layout quarters along Bosso road Minna which is about 2 kilometres away from the government house”.
But the permanent secretary, Government House, Comrade Hamisu Jankaru, said the notice of relocation issued February 27, was to give room for the renovation of the offices.
There has been friction between the governor, Babangida Aliyu and the deputy over the latter’s defection from the PDP to the APC.
