Hundreds of Ekiti residents trooped to the streets on Friday to condemn the alleged corrupt activities the state governor, Ayodele Fayose.
The protest was organised by a non-governmental organization, Be The Change Organization (BCO).
Declaring their support for President Muhammadu Buhari’s anti-corruption war, the protesters called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to bring Fayose and all those who participated in the alleged looting of Ekiti to justice.
Labour unions, Conference of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP), artisans, market women, youth organizations and student bodies participating.
The placard-carrying protesters who had gathered at Fajuyi Roundabout earlier in the day commenced their march at about 8.50 am and moved towards, Okesa, Ojumose before terminating the rally at Okeyinmi Roundabout in the heart of the town.
