Former Minister of Education and Bring Back Our Girls campaigner, Oby Ezekwesili, has been arrested by the Police.
She and her BBOG members were at the Unity Fountain today for a rally to request the return of Chibok girls.
She wrote on Twitter that she and other BBOG members have been arrested and “now detained without a charge” at the FCT Command.
Those arrested along with her are Aisha Yesufu, Ms Maureen Kabrik, Jeff Okoroafor, and four others.

She tweeted:
“P @MBuhari: I have been ARRESTED along with rest of our BBOG members and NOW DETAINED without a charge by the .@PoliceNG . WE are detained at the FCT command . The Police here has REFUSED to tell us why we are DETAINED.
“What Are WE Demanding? BringBackOurGirlsNOW!!!!!!!”
