A 102-year-old woman, Mrs. Nonye Josephine Ezeanyaeche, has declared her intention to run for the presidency in 2023.
She made the declaration during a recent visit to the management team of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
She expressed her readiness to contest for the position if the younger generation in the country are not ready, saying she has good plans for the country.
Ezeanyaeche, who is also called ‘living legend’ or ‘Mama Africa,’ hails from Aguata, Anambra State and she is the founder of ‘Voice for Senior Citizens of Nigeria.’
She joined the long list of individuals who have so far declared interest to run for the position.
