The Independent National Electoral Commission has announced a deadline for the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration ahead of the 2019 general elections.
According to the commission, registration would end in December 2018, 60 days before the elections.
The National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee of INEC, Prince Solomon Soyebi, said in a statement on Wednesday, that all registration centres would be open from 9am to 3pm every day except on weekends and public holidays.
He revealed that about four million people had registered in recent time, bringing the number of registered voters across the country to about 74 million.
