The National President of the Union, Alhaji Najeeb Usman Makama announced the endorsement in Birnin Kebbi at the weekend during a mass rally organised by the Kebbi State branch of the union in support of the APC-led administration at the federal and state levels.

The union also endorsed the Kebbi state governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, for second term.

Makama told the mammoth crowd of NURTW and APC members at Haliru Abdu Stadium in Birnin Kebbi that president Buhari remained the most credible person to continue in office as the President of Nigeria in view of the importance he attached to improving roads and the transport sector of the country.

Daily Post quoted him as saying: “President Buhari more than any other president this country had has embarked on improving our roads across the country which has rekindled confidence of travellers, he has also restored security and tranquility in Nigeria”.

He maintained that the national body of the union was in full support of the decision taken by the state branch to endorse President Buhari and Governor Bagudu for the second term come 2019.

The Kebbi State chairman of the Union, Usman Abubakar directed all members of the union to reelect for the second term in office president Buhari and governor Bagudu because of their track records of achievements.
