The League of Imams, Oluyole Local Government Chapter, has called for more support towards the election bid of Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye in the 2023 general elections, saying that he performed very well during his tenure as Oluyole Local Government Chairman.

The Imams stated this in a statement made available to newsmen by its spokesperson, Ustaz Daudu Moteji, on Monday, after a courtesy visit by Abass-Aleshinloye, Engr Nurudeen Faozey and Hon Aina Oke Are among others, over the weekend.

The association described the ambition of Abass-Aleshinloye to represent the good people of Oluyole Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives as another political development that will engender unrivaled development in the federal constituency and the state at large.

“As far as the House of Representatives ambition of Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye is concerned, the facts speak for itself. Here is a politician of note whose major forte is selfless service to humanity. Here is an administrator par excellence whose love and dedication to making life much more rewarding for the people is legendary.

“We are all living witnesses to his brilliant performance when he was the caretaker chairman of our dear local government between 2011-2014 and elected chairman between 2018-2019. He is one person who put people first and that is why many are already saying that it is pay back time for Prince Aleshinloye.

“We don’t have any doubt within us that the people of Oluyole Federal Constituency and the state at large will benefit very immensely from the former chairman’s broad based experience, network of friends and above all, his legendary disposition to serving the people.

“It is against this background that we are calling on people in Oluyole Federal Constituency to support Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye, fondly called ALESH,Engr Faozey for Senate, Oyo Central Senatorial District,Hon Aina Oke Are for Oluyole State Constituency as well as other candidates contesting in 2023 elections on the platform of Accord,” the statement read.
