A former deputy governor of Central Bank of Nigeria and All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship hopeful in Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, has postponed his official gubernatorial declaration from Wednesday, May 18, to Thursday, May 19, 2022.
In a shot statement released on Tuesday, Adelabu said the decision to shift the date was due to the party’s congress which may likely extend to Wednesday, May 18.
“We regret to announce that the mega rally for the guber declaration of Oloye Bayo Adelabu slated to hold on Wednesday, 18th May, 2022, has been shifted to Thursday, 19th May, 2022.
“The change in date is as a result of our party’s congress likely to extend till the 18th of May, 2022,” the statement read.
It, however, said the venue and time remain unchanged, adding, “any inconvenience is humbly regretted.”
