Former Chairman, House Committee on Finance and Appropriation, Abdulmumin Jibrin, on Thursday, accused some members of the House of diverting funds for running costs into their private pockets.
Jibrin, in a series of tweets last night, listed the principal officers among others, as being involved in the alleged fraud. He also called on the ex3cutive arm of government to stop tbe allocations to the House until they clear the allegations.

But the Chief Whip of the House, Mr. Alhassan Ado-Doguwa, has described Jibrin’s words as “rubbish”.
Ado-Doguwa, told Punch that members expected that Jibrin would keep reeling out more allegations, in spite of being on suspension.
He said: “Let him say whatever rubbish he wants to say.
“I am sure Nigerians are now realising the truth in Jibrin’s stupidity.
“His suspension serves him right. We could not have done anything less.”
