Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has appointed 344 new aides, with few weeks to the November 16 governorship election in the state.
A statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Ebenezer Adeniran, said the appointments were in continuation of Aiyedatiwa’s efforts to enhance governance and service delivery to the people of the state.
He noted that the new aides comprise of 28 Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and 316 Special Assistants (SAs).
Adeniran added that the appointments spread across the 18 local government areas, 33 local council development areas and 203 wards in the state.
He urged the new appointees to bring to bear their wealth of experience and dedicate themselves to serving the people of the state.
