Governor Abiola Ajimobi was among the dignitaries that graced the eight day Fidau prayer organised Alhaja Sidikat Abebi Folarin, mother of ex-Senate Leader and PDP chieftain, Teslim Folarin on Friday.
Alhaja Sidiqat was buried last week. She died at the age of 98.
The Fidau prayer event was held at her compound, Baale Folarin Compound, Behind Zenith Bank Plc, Elewura, Challenge, the Oyo State capital.
Other dignitaries at the event include: Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Shelkh AbdulGaniyy Abubakar; Senator Ayoade Adeseun; Sen. Aderemi Adedibu; Sen. Hosea Agboola; Hon. Lekan Alabi; Elder Wole Oyelese; Sarafadeen Alli; Head of the Igbo community in Oyo State, High Chief Aloysius Obi; CEO of Jogor centre, Engr. Femi Babalola and High Chief Eddy Oyewole.
Ohers are: Ex-Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Asimiyu Alarape; former Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Mr. Sarafadeen Alli; Hon. Akeem Oke; former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Yekin Adeojo; former to Chief of Staff to ex-governor of Oyo State, Adebayo Alao-Akala, Dr. Saka Balogun; Ex-Oyo Secretary to the State Government, Chief Layiwola Olakojo; Hon. Gbenga Adewusi; Widow of late politician, Lamidi Adedibu, Alhaja Abosede Adedibu and many others.
