The remains of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III will be buried at 4pm on Saturday (today).
The Head of Oyo Mesi, who is the Basorun of Oyo Kingdom, High Chief Yusuf Ayoola, disclosed this while addressing newsmen at the palace on Saturday
“We have called the Imam. Baba will be buried today around 4pm,” he said.
Ayoola confirmed that Oba Adeyemi died at the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti, on Friday night.
Ayoola added that the necesary rites of passage had been performed.
