An Oyo Central Senatorial hopeful, Engr. Abiola Idowu Olaniyan, has joined the indigenes of Oyo State and other Nigerians in mourning the passing away of the former governor of the state, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala.
Olaniyan also commiserated with the family and associates of the leader of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo state, saying Akala’s death at this critical time, when the people of Oyo State need him for direction, is too heavy to bear.
According to him, “the death of our political leader, Adebayo Alao-Akala, is a great loss to Oyo State, in particular, as well as the entire Nigeria as his leadership quality, devotion to humanity and wise counsels would be greatly missed.”
“On behalf of myself, my family, political associates and constituents of Oyo Central Senatorial district, I offer my deepest sympathy to the family, political associates and our great party, All Progressives Congress and the entire Oyo State over the demise of our great leader, His Excellency, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala
“Our consolation is that he lived a good life and has left a good legacy in the state
“I pray that God Almighty would grant him eternal rest and to grant the family and friends the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” Olaniyan added
