Oyo State recorded 12 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 317.
Governor Seyi Makinde disclosed this on Tuesday evening, saying: “The COVID-19 confirmation tests for twelve suspected cases came back positive. Five cases are from iSON Xperiences and seven cases are from Atiba, Lagelu, Oluyole, Akinyele, Ibadan Northwest and Ibadan South West LGAs. “
With new five cases confirmed at the outsourcing firm, iSON Xperiences, located in Ibadan South West local government area, the total number of confirmed cases in the organisation is now 195.
Since the first set of cases were recorded in the organisation on May 17, it has continued to record new cases almost on a daily basis.
The 195 cases that has been recorded in the organisation represents 61.5 percent of the total number of cases confirmed in the state so far.
