The make-up free movement is gathering momentum after singers, Adele and Alicia Keys took the bold step.
However, a bride in Lagos, Bisola Umoren, went make-up free on her wedding day but it is not for the movement.
Ms Umoren said she went make-up free for her big day because she is ‘not the make-up type’.
She told Naij.com:
‘When my husband first met me, I had not had my bath, but he saw and fell in love with my natural look.
She continued, ‘I’m not the make-up type. I don’t like any form of inconvenience or discomfort on my face, my neck and entire body.
‘It is not a church thing, it is just me and my personal decision.’

For the make-up free movement, Adele, appeared without wearing a scrap of her trademark dramatic make-up; many people found it empowering.
Alicia Keys, also spoke about the power behind bare-faced freedom, later appearing at the MTV VMAs without any make-up.
