The Anambra State Police Command has invited Aloysius Ikegwuonu aka Bishop, the alleged target of the August 6 massacre that took place at the St Phillips Catholic Church in Ozubulu, for questioning.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, Nkiru Nwode, told newsmen yesterday that Bishop is expected at the command’s office in Awka, the state capital on Friday, August 18.
She said the invitation was not an arrest as he has not committed any crime to warrant arrest.
There were reports that attack was a drug gang war that broke out between Bishop and another alleged drug lord, in South Africa.

It was believed that the gunmen that hit the church actually came for Bishop unknown to them that he had left town. They then reportedly turned to his father whom they shot dead alongside 12 others worshippers.
Bishop, who is the founder of Ebubechukwuzo Foundation, is currently in Nigeria. On Tuesday, he visited the injured victims of the attack in the hospital.
