The 79-84 set of Adeola Odutola College Old Student Association (AOCOSA) has elected new executives that will paddle the ship of the association for two years.
A statement signed by the chairman of the association’s electoral committee, Abdur- Rahman Balogun, declared Alade Harrison Onabanjo as the newly elected president for the set, having been unanimously elected with 100 per cent of the votes cast.
According to the Balogun, other elected officers are Abdulazeez Olawale Balogun as Vice President, Moshood Bajo as Secretary, Ramotalai Aribike Oseni as the Assistant Secretary, while Adetutu Ogunba emerged as Treasurer. The post of Financial Secretary went to Funmilayo Akeeb.
Also elected were Idowu Alice Aiyenuro, Welfare/Social Officer; Titilayo Kuburat Abass, P.R.O; Barrister Aderinsayo Adewunmi, Legal Advisor; Bishop Olalekan Wasiu, Auditor; Shakiru Abiodun Balogun, new Ex- Officio.
Speaking, the new elected president, Onabanjo, promised that the new executive will run an all- inclusive administration, in which no one is superior to the other.
“Let’s join hands to make the set role model among others,”he said.
Onabanjo also promised to runn the affairs of the association with high sense of responsibility, loyalty and integrity.
Recall that the set recently celebrated its 40 years anniversary with donation of solar street lights worth millions of naira to the 79-year-old college.
