Apple Inc. has responded to users’ complaints about blurry photos being taken with its iPhone 6 Plus.
“Apple has determined that, in a small percentage of iPhone 6 Plus devices, the iSight camera has a component that may fail causing your photos to look blurry.” the company said in a statement.
The company said affected customers have been called upon to return the phones as they would be fixed for free by Apple.
It said the phones affected were mainly sold between the September 2014 release date and January 2015. According to the company,
Also, customers who already purchased the devices could use Apple’s online tool to see whether their device is eligible for a fix.
iPhone owners who want to check to see can enter their serial number on the link above. To find your serial number, go to settings, then tap ‘general’ then ‘about’.
Eligible customers will have their phones repaired for free by taking it into an Apple store or by contacting technical support team. Customers are advised to back up their data before sending phones to be repaired.
