Prince Abubakar Audu, candidate of the APC has emerged winner of the Kogi State Governorship election held on Saturday, beating incumbent Governor, Idris Wada (PDP) by 41,353 votes.
Results from the 21 local governments in the state show that Mr. Audu garnered 240, 867 votes as against the 199, 514 votes scored by Wada.
Audu defeated Wada, in 16 of the 21 local government areas in the state.
Audu will be returned Governor by INEC as long as the total number of votes cancelled is not more than 41, 353, which is the difference between the two leading candidates
