Reports have it that Senator Isiaka Adeleke, died as a result of overdose of drugs.
Adeleke had been rushed to Biket Hospital in Osogbo, capital of Osun, after suffering heart attack. He later died in the hospital in the early hours of Sunday.
There has been protests and suspicion that his death may not have been due to natural causes. His younger brother, Adedeji ordered that an autopsy should be conducted before the burial.
Protests marred the burial which took place today.

TheCable now reports that the result of the autopsy, which is yet to be made public, shows that he was not poisoned as some people in Ede, his hometown, had been insinuating.
According to the online news medium, the lawmaker who was representing Osun West Senatorial district, occasionally suffered from pains in one of his legs. As a result of this, Adeleke regularly used painkillers usually administered to him by injections.
“This had been going on for a while. However, an overdose of the injection led to the heart attack that eventually claimed his life,” a family source was quoted as saying.
The man who gave him the drug is suspected to be a quack. He has reportedly been arrested and facing interrogation.
The family of the deceased is expected to address the press on the latest development.
There had been reports that the deceased was killed because of his interest in the 2018 governorship election in in the state.
