The Serving Overseer of Citadel Global Church, Pastor Tunde, Bakare has hailed his outing at the recently-concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary.
Although Bakare got zero vote at the primary, he said that he had passed the test of character and courage by not paying delegates.
Before the commencement of the primary election, Bakare had shunned calls for him to step down for other stronger contenders, vowing that he would rather step up.
At the end of the exercise, former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, clinched the ticket to become APC’s presidential candidate
But in a short statement he issued on Thursday, Bakare said he spoke the truth in the midst of wolves.
“I am happy that I have passed the test of character by not paying any delegate.
“I passed the test of courage, by speaking the truth in the midst of wolves and the test of conviction by standing true to my beliefs. Those who will make a difference must be different,” the pastor said.
