Reports have it that Chelsea owner, Roman Abrahimovic and former England skipper, David Beckham may team up to found a new football club in Miami, USA.
We however hear that Beckham, owner of the plan, is still weighing up different investment partners and the Russian billionaire, worth £5.3billion, is in the running and looks set to build a dynasty with Beckham.
According to Daily Star, it will cost the ex-Manchester United winger more than £200million to make his dream of having a team in America’s Major League Soccer a reality.
He and his advisors are narrowing in on a major partner after “vast interest” from the world’s most successful businessmen.
But investors in the Middle East and China are also in the running, including Qatar Sports Investments who own Becks’ old club Paris Saint-Germain.
