Democrat Joe Biden, has said his administration will rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement after he is sworn-in as the 46th United States President in January 2021.
ABC and other media had reported that the US officially left the Paris Agreement on Wednesday, three years after President Donald Trump made the announcement.
Reacting to the announcement on Twitter, Bien said: “Today, the Trump Administration officially left the Paris Climate Agreement. And in exactly 77 days, a Biden Administration will rejoin it.”
Although, counting of votes is still ongoing, all figures now look good for Biden to emerge as the next president.
