Theresa May’s cabinet and her Brexit plans have fallen further apart following the resignation of her Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson.
Johnson resigned on Monday, less than 24 hours after the resignation of Brexit secretary, David Davis.
“This afternoon, the Prime Minister accepted the resignation of Boris Johnson as Foreign Secretary,” a statement from Downing Street said. “His replacement will be announced shortly. The Prime Minister thanks Boris for his work.”
