President Muhammadu Buhari has confered with the highest national honour in the country, the Grand Commander of Order of Federal Republic (GCFR) on the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
This is part of the ongoing investiture ceremony for Tinubu and the vice president-elect, Kashim Shettima.
Buhari also confered the second highest national honour of Grand Commander of the Order of Niger (GCON) on Shettima.
The ceremony is taking place at the presidential villa, Abuja.
