The proprietor of popular Ibadan hotel, D’Rovans, Chief Francis Aiyegbeni, is dead.
Ayegbeni died Saturday afternoon in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan. He was 69 years old.
The hotelier, who was also a boxer, was rushed to the hospital late Friday evening after his health condition got worse at the Police Hospital, Eleyele.
Aiyegbeni battled serious cardiac related ailment until he succumbed to the cold hands of death.
D’Rovans Hotel became famous in the 1990s, trailing closely behind hilltop Premier Hotel in structures and services.
