Former governor of Oyo State, Dr Omololu Olunloyo, is dead.

Olunloyo, 87, reportedly died in Ibadan, on Friday.

It was gathered that the mathematician had been sick for a while and was receiving medical attention.

Olunloyo was the governor of Oyo State between October 1983 and December 1983.

However, the Oyo State Government is yet to officially announce his death.
