Following several hours of meeting between the tripartite committee on new national minimum wage and organised labour on Friday, the Federal Government has increased its offer to N62,000 from the N60,000 proposed earlier.
The organised labour, on the other hand, has also reduced its demand from N494,000 to N250,000.
The meeting has been adjourned as the committee and labour failed reach a consensus.
The organised private sector, it was gathered, also backed the government’s offer of N62,000.
