Former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primaries.
Tinubu polled 1,271 votes to defeat his closest challenger and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, who scored 316 votes to come a distant second.
The election, which held at Eagle Square, Abuja, started on Tuesday evening and ended on Wednesday morning. The result was declared on Wednesday afternoon.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo had 235 votes to place third in the election.
