President Bola Tinubu has said his administration will govern and not rule over Nigerians.
He stated this during his inaugural address at the Eagle Square, Abuja.
He said: “We shall consult and dialogue but never dictate; we shall reach out to all but never put down a single person for sharing views contrary to ours.
“We shall mend this nations and not tear it down.”
On the February 25 election, Tinubu said the outcome of the election reflect the will of the people, adding that political colouration has faded away.
“My fellow contestants are representing a constituency and they must be treated with respect.
“I will exhibit prejudice towards none but compassion towards all,” he said.
He noted that his administration would be guided by rule of law, remodelling of the economy and achieving much better GDP, defend Nigeria from terrorists, food security, end extreme poverty, improve security.
Tinubu assured that the mandate given to him is not misplaced, adding that the country should unite to achieve greatness.
