Nigerian singer, Olawale ‘Brymo’ Ashimi, on Thursday, shocked his fans by releasing a double album, with nine tracks.
The release of the albums follows his Libel EP, which was an intriguing response to accusations of sexual harassment leveled against him
The release of these albums came as a rude shock to his fans because there was no prior announcement by the singer.
Brymo, unlike many Nigerian artistes, does not promote the release of his albums.
The albums, titled ‘Esan’, which in Yoruba means revenge; and ‘Harmattan and Rain’ symbolises transition from insufficiency to sufficiency.
Both albums touch on heartbreak and healing.
He will launch the two albums at a show tagged, ‘Organized Chaos’,on October 1.
