President Muhammadu Buhari has left New York City for London after attending the United Nations General Assembly.
SaharaReporters, citing an itinerary, reports that the President would leave New York about 9:04 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on his presidential jet.
Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, had said last week, before his principal left for New York, that the President will transit through London on his way back to Nigeria.
It is thought that the President might be going for a follow up medical check-up scheduled for Saturday. When he would return to the country, is not yet known.
Recall that President Buhari returned to Nigeria from London on August 19, 2017 after spending 104 days receiving medical treatment for an undisclosed ailment.
