President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday met with German Chancellor, Angela Merkel in Abidjan.
The two leaders who met on the sidelines of the ongoing EU-AU Summit discussed issues bordering on Nigerians migrating to Europe as well as investment opportunities in Nigeria for German companies.
President Buhari in tweet said “We discussed increased cooperation to check the illegal migration of Nigerians to Europe. We also discussed the progress of our war on terrorism, as well as investment opportunities in Nigeria for German companies”.
Buhari had earlier met with the Ivorian President, Alassane Ouattara, with whom he had a frank talk about the political situation in Togo.
