President Muhammadu Buhari has fired the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Alhaji Sanusi Ado Bayero.
Bayero has been replaced with immediate effect with Habibu Abdullahi, who had been sacked in April by former President Goodluck Jonathan
A statement issued by the president’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina said the termination of Alhaji Bayero’s appointment is with immediate effect.
It read: “He (Bayero) is to hand over the management of the NPA and all government property in his possession to Mr. Habibu Abdullahi who has been reinstated as Managing Director of the NPA by President Buhari.
“President Buhari wishes Alhaji Bayero well in his future endeavours”
