Reports say President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to leave Nigeria for London on Monday, April 9, to commence his annual vacation.
The INDEPENDENT quoted a source within the presidency as saying that the President plans to make the journey early enough to enable him rest adequately before participating in the 25th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) slated for April 16 to April 20, 2018.
The meeting would take place at the Buckingham Palace, St James’s Palace, and Windsor Castle.
President Buhari courted comtroversies last year when he spent about 154 days treating an undisclosed ailment in London where he undergone medical treatment for an undisclosed ailment.
Earlier in the year, he left for London where he spent 51 days. He returned in March. On May 7, he left for London again and spent another 103 days.
