Senator Shehu Sani, senator representing Kaduna Central, has warned billionaire businessman, Aliko Dangote, against aligning with the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Dangote and oil mogul, Femi Otedola, were named on President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election campaign council in a statement released this morning.
While mixed reactions greeted the appointment, Sani, using a parable, toldDangote that alignng himself with the APC whose logo is the broom, would not benefit his business.
“Dear Bro Aliko, don’t use broom to reinforce your silos; don’t use broom as your plasterboard; don’t use broom to mix your concrete; maintain the use of your machine concrete mixer,” he tweeted.
Sani, a critic of President Muhammadu Buhari administration, dumped the APC in October amid the controversies that trailed the primaries conducted by the APC.
He is currently a member of the Peoples Redemption Party( PRP).
Sani is known for making public commentaries in parables and cryotic messages.
Recently while advising former senate mnority leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio, to leave the APC and return to the PDP, he tweeted: “Oh ye Godswill, leave Nineveh through the Tigris River before dawn and returneth to thy city Damascus”.
He also criticised the federal government’s alleged selective anti-corruption war by saying that President Buhari was fighting graft by using insecticide on members of the opposition and using deodorants on members of the APC.
