The Supreme Council faction of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) has ordained new set of pastors from its training center for the propagation of the gospel.
The ordination and graduation service for the 11 new pastors was held at CAC, Oke Awamardi District Headquarters, Odo Ona, Ibadan, on Sunday.
In his sermon at the service , the Chairman, Ekiti State Coordinating Council, Pastor Abraham Ayodele, urged the new pastors to follow the precept of God in the discharge of their callings and understand the great responsibility placed on their shoulders by the authorities of the mission.
“They have been subjected to a three months’ intensive sandwich course, where they were exposed to materials necessary for the practical work of ministry, especially in this end-time and in line with the vision of this church for the present and the future. In the end, they have all been found fit in both learning and character, to be graduated and to be ordained to join their senior brothers as co-Pastors in Christ Apostolic Church. It is a worthy calling and we welcome them.
“We are not ordaining you today, simply to join other crops of Pastors in the world, who rejoice in their titles and seek only the perks and gains of their office. Instead, you are being ordained to join the righteous army of the Lord at the battle front for the end-time work of Ministry.
“I want to urge you therefore to be prepared for the work ahead, and to make a total consecration of your life to God in your ministerial journey,” Ayodele said.
Ayodele enjoined the graduands to stand on the foundation of their founding fathers and not to deviate from the constitution of the church.
Fielding questions from newsmen after the service, Ayodele said the Supreme Council faction is ready to reconcile with other CAC factions if they are ready to follow the path of truth and on the laid down principles of the founding fathers of the church.
“We are not saying we cannot reconcile, but we are going to reconcile on the truth and on the laid down principles of our forefathers. They cannot force us to do something contrary,” he added
Also, the General Secretary, CAC Nigeria and overseas, Pastor David Udofia, said the crisis can be resolved, even before court judgement.
He,however, added that everything must be done with sincerity.
