Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor, has disclosed that some of the suspected terrorists linked to the attack on Saint Francis Catholic Church, Owo, two months ago, have been arrested.
Irabor made the disclosure during a parley with executives and editors of media organisations in Nigeria, on Tuesday.
He said the attackers were apprehended during joint operations involving the Armed Forces, the Department of Security Services (DSS) and Police.
About 40 people were killed when gunmen attacked the church on June 5, opened fire on the congregation, and also detonated explosives.
