A shopping mall in Taiyuan, China has erected a giant inflatable dog statue of US President Donald Trump. The move is to immortalise Trump in the form of this year’s animal which is the Year of the Dog.
The statue is complete with the President’s trademark hair, eyebrows and hand gesture.
It just so happens that Trump was born in the year of the dog, which occurs every twelve years.
Unfortunately for Trump in Chinese culture, it is considered to be bad luck if the animal of the year is the same year you were born in, as reported by Quartz.
The mall took a similar step a the end of 2016 to celebrate the Chinese Year of the Rooster.
