The trial of Senate President, Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal over the 13-count corruption charge slammed on him by the Code of Conduct Bureau has begun
The Tribunal has however barred live coverage of the proceedings.
Saraki was accompanied by the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, former Sokoto Governor, Aliyu Wamakko and other senators.
At the tribunal, there was argument as to where Saraki should sit. While Prosecutor. Rotimi Jacobs wants Saraki to sit at the dock, defense, Joseph Daudu, says the business of the day is for the accused to take his plea.
Tribunal chairman, Danladi Umar, has said Saraki must take his plea.
